We maintain a strict zero-retention posture for user-uploaded camera images:

• Temporary Memory Processing: When you use our “Scan Box label” tool to take a photo of a package label, the image file is sent securely to our API for the sole purpose of extracting numeric dimensions via Google's Gemini Vision API.
• No Database Storage: The image binary is processed transiently in volatile system memory. We do not store, cache, archive, host, or share your photos on our servers or databases. Once the OCR parsing completes and the dimensions are returned to your browser, the image data is immediately and permanently deleted.

2. De-identified Calculator Usage Logs

To optimize database matching and compile high-intent purchasing analytics, we log calculations:

• What We Log: We record searched product terms, dimension results, vehicle makes/models, and fitment results (e.g. “55-inch TV Box in 2022 Hyundai Tucson - YES”).
• No PII Attached: This data is entirely de-identified and anonymous. We do not collect or store Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, physical location, IP address, device fingerprints, or account credentials.

3. Local Browser Caching

We respect your preferences and minimize tracking:

• Local Storage Only: We use standard browser localStorage to save your recent vehicle selections locally on your device for user convenience.
• No Tracking Cookies: We do not deploy server-side tracking cookies designed to monitor your personal browsing behavior across third-party websites.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

Our backend infrastructure operates using standard cloud platforms:

• Google Gemini API: Utilized to process OCR scans and ground search results.
• Supabase: Utilized as our secure cloud database host.
• Vercel: Utilized to host our serverless code and web application.

These subprocessors maintain strict ISO, SOC 2, and data compliance standards.

5. Third-Party Retail Links

Our Service allows you to paste product URLs from retailers. Once you navigate away from our Service to a third-party website, their respective privacy policies and terms govern your browsing session. We assume no responsibility for data processed on third-party sites.

6. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in compliance regulations or our processing architectures. The “Last Updated” date at the top indicates when modifications were made.

• Legal Basis: We process transient image data and retail URL queries under the legal basis of Performance of a Contract (to deliver the fitment calculations you requested). We log de-identified query bounds under Legitimate Interests (to prevent API abuse and optimize calculator math).
• International Transfers: Your data is transferred to and processed on servers located in the United States. Our hosting and cloud subprocessors (Vercel, Supabase, Google) process data in compliance with standard contractual frameworks.
